Twistars Gymnastics ("Twistars", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of students, parents, guardians, and academy users.

The Twistars Gymnastics mobile application is intended for registered parents, guardians, and authorized academy administrators to manage gymnastics memberships, attendance, trial bookings, package renewals, and academy communications.

2. Information We Collect

When you use the Twistars Gymnastics app, we may collect the following information:

• Parent or guardian name
• Student name
• Student date of birth
• Student gender
• Mobile phone number
• Emergency contact name and number
• Medical notes or health information relevant to safe participation in classes
• Trial booking information
• Registration and membership details
• Package start date, expiry date, attendance, renewals, and upgrade history
• Payment status and package-related records maintained by the academy
• Device notification token for push notifications

3. How We Use Information

We use the collected information to:

• Verify registered parent and admin access
• Manage student memberships and packages
• Track attendance and class balance
• Process trial bookings, new registrations, renewals, and upgrades
• Send academy announcements and package-related notifications
• Maintain student progress and academy records
• Support the safety and wellbeing of students during classes, including responding appropriately to any medical needs or emergencies
• Provide support and respond to parent or guardian queries
• Improve academy operations and communication

4. Phone Authentication

The app uses mobile number based authentication to allow registered parents and authorized administrators to access the app. Verification codes may be sent to the user's mobile number for login.

5. Push Notifications

The app may send push notifications for package renewals, approval updates, academy announcements, and important operational messages. Users may disable notifications from their device settings.

6. Children's Privacy

Twistars Gymnastics provides gymnastics programs for children aged 3 years and above. The app is intended to be used by parents, guardians, and academy administrators. Student information, including any medical or health-related notes, is provided and managed by parents, guardians, or authorized academy staff.

7. Data Sharing

Twistars Gymnastics does not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Information may be shared only when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of Twistars Gymnastics, students, parents, or staff.

8. Third-Party Services

The app uses Firebase services provided by Google for authentication, database storage, cloud functions, file storage, and push notifications.

These services help us securely operate the app and provide real-time updates to users.

9. Analytics and Advertising

Twistars Gymnastics does not show third-party advertisements in the app.

At this time, the app is not intended to use third-party analytics for advertising or user profiling.

10. Payments

The app does not currently process online payments inside the application. Payment and package information may be recorded by authorized academy administrators for operational and membership tracking purposes.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information. Data is stored using Firebase services, and access is restricted based on user roles such as registered parent or authorized academy administrator.

12. Data Retention

We retain student, parent, membership, and attendance records while the student is associated with Twistars Gymnastics and for a reasonable period afterward for academy operations, legal, accounting, and support purposes.

When an account is deleted (see Section 13), directly identifying information such as name, contact details, and medical notes is removed immediately. Attendance and payment records are retained for the period described above, since these serve legitimate accounting, safety, and record-keeping purposes even after an account is deleted.
